| When You're Gone on 14 October 2011
Assalamualaikum and good morning sayang :')
14 October 2011 - A tragic day when a good friends of mine had passed away in the aged of sixteen. He was somebody that nice to all of his friends.
He was a
popular athlete at school. He was a handsome and calm person. He never mad at
his friends but he always smile and support us. He always joke around to cover
his pain that we never knew. He was arwah Adli Kasmani, he was my unforgettable person.
We started
to be friend in Form Two. He was a Raja Udang athlete. He took part in running.
I think he became an athlete because it was a part of his soul. That day, we
laughed happily together at the field. So, our friendship started. I always
went to my foster parent’s house which is next to arwah’s house. So, we will
share our problems and tried to solve it together if we met.
One night, I
received a message from Syafiq. According to the message, Adli died in an
accident. My heart because sad. I sent the message to his friends. I tried to
find out the truth of the message from the others, unfortunately, they also did
not know. I decided to call my foster sister next morning. I really hoped that
Adli can come back again that time.
Next
morning, I had my Physics class at school. I called my foster sister, she said
Adli died in an accident at Mount Austin. My heart broken. I decided to visit
his family after class. When I reached school, only Sofia and I were there. I
called Daya, she said that she and the others were at arwah’s house.
When I
reached Adli’s house, the whole house was filled with thousand of silent.
Everyone cried while recited Yassin to arwah. I begun to cry when his mother
told that she loved arwah very much. His sister fainted and I could see that
his sister could not accept that her younger brother is dead.
By noon,
arwah’s body was brought to his house. We saw arwah for the last time. His face
was pale and many blood flow from his body. He was badly injured during the
accident. When his body was brought into surau for pray, his mother fainted. I
cannot forget that situation, a mother’s love to arwah never end.
At night,
after we done the tahlil for arwah, his parents meet us. Meet all his friends,
seek for our forgiveness if he did wrong toward us and also the debt that arwah
had borrowed for the rest of his life. That night also, his parents said a
secret. A secret that no one knows what actually happened. Arwah had leukemia
from child. All of us shocked because no one knew that he suffered since he was
young. I felt like I am a useless person because as his friend I did not know
that he had leukemia.
His birthday
had passed on 28 March , an important date for me and it will remind me to him
– Arwah Adli. I visited his Facebook, his sister wrote on his wall and she said
that he really missed the moment when arwah cried like a baby and requested
many presents for his birthday. He will hugged his sister and said : “Adik sayang
Along”.
Although he
left us two years ago, but I still remembered the moment we had been through
together. I missed his texting, his sweet smile and his voice. He was my
unforgettable person. His died taught me to appreciate our life and do not
burden someone else include our family and friend.
“ When you're
gone
The pieces of my heart are missing you When you're gone The face I came to know is missing too When you're gone The words I need to hear to always get me through the day and make it ok I miss you ” .
DEDICATED TO ALL ,
